Athabasca Lodge Motel Policies and Reservation Information will provide you with all information you will need to make a reservation and stay with us. (The policies can be changed at any time without notice.)

Guaranteed Reservations

To guarantee a reservation at Athabasca Lodge Motel, a valid credit card is required at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

The guaranteed reservations at Athabasca Lodge Motel cannot be canceled and no refund. The general bookings must be cancelled by 4:00pm, 48 hours prior to arrival date to avoid cancellation penalties. If you wish to cancel your reservation within the cancel policy, a two (2) night penalty including taxes/fees will be applied. Checked in customers have to give us 48 hours' notice from check out time (11:00AM) in order to check out before their intended check date or else a two (2) night penalty including taxes/fees will be applied. Group and Conference reservations are subject to the cancellation and deposit policies outlined at time of booking and may vary from standard motel policies. Bookings for Shutdown (Busy season) requires 14 days' notice for any changes or cancellations. (A week penalty will be applied)

Check in / out

Check in time starts at 3:00 P.M and check out time is 11:00 A.M on the day of your departure. Please return room key(s) to front desk or leave in your room or key box outside. Missing key will be charged $20.00.

Age Requirement

To reserve a room at Athabasca Lodge Motel, there must be at least 1 adult present in the room (19 years of age or older). The person registering is responsible for all damages caused to room, furnishings and fixtures on the property. Athabasca Lodge Motel is privately owned and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewellery or valuables of any kind. Children under 12 years of age may stay free in parents' room.

Athabasca Lodge Motel accepts major credit cards (VISA, MASTER), cash, and Debit card payments.

Taxes & Fee

Hotel / motel stays are now subject to 5% Tax (GST) and a 4% Hotel Room Tax implemented by accommodators in Alberta.

Smoking & Pet Policy

We will charge $250 for smoking in a non-smoking room. We allow pets just in the smoking room with extra $20.00 per pet / night. If you stay with pets in the room without our prior approval, we will charge $150 for cleaning fee.
